The Explorers Camp Group originally started as “Motor City Explorers Camp Club” by Richard “Sir Rich” Braxton in 2022. The name was changed due to the fact that we all wanted to “explore” the great outdoors and not be bound to just the Detroit area (Motor City).
Richards idea was to team up with like minded RV campers and adventurous people to enjoy the great outdoors. Our explorations simply consisted of RV’ing, camping, sports game tailgating, bonfires, social group gatherings and any type of road trips as a group.
We're up 81 members on Facebook and rising. Core group of members that attend every outing is around 10 or more.
We've covered many campgrounds in and around Michigan. Our goal is to Explore farther outside of our normal 300 mile radius.

Paintball and camping excursion at Hell's Survivor Paintball Field. Camping next door at "Rails to Trails" Campground. This will be an exciting bonding session for the group. Friday 7/11/25 to Sunday 7/13/25. Paintball fee's can be found here => (link). NOTE: Camp site does not have electric, water, sewage. We'll be sharing power from a few generators. Water is available for rig fill up. This is dry camping. Reservation Map here.
